George Emil Palade University of Medicine, Pharmacy, Science, and Technology of Targu Mures offers scholarships according to the results achieved through study:
- – excellence scholarships,
- – skill scholarships,
- – study scholarships.
Simultaneously, in the case of remarkable achievements, performance scholarship may be awarded:
- – scientific achievement scholarships,
- – sports performance scholarships.
In addition, Romanian citizens with permanent residency in Romania can also benefit from the following financial supports:
Permanent and occasional welfare are being offered according to Government Decision no. 558/1998.
According to MEN no. 3845/12.04.2005, the University offers individual support grant for students that live outside the Student Campus and also settles half of the value of urban transportation fees within 50 km of the University.
The University is administering a program called "EURO 200" which offers financial support regarding the acquisition of desktop computers.
George Emil Palade University of Medicine, Pharmacy, Science, and Technology of Targu Mures under the university autonomy act, organizes the program for student volunteering „Volunteer Learning University”. Under this program, students may participate in interconnected didactic and administrative activities.
The activities carried out as part of that program are quantified and rewarded with reduction in tuition fees.
